  • Can I pay for my site on a month-to-month basis?
    No, at this time we only accept payments on a yearly basis. We have found that monthly payments only tend to be a hassel for our clients and cause difficulties with collections. Since you can request a refund after the first month, we feel that once you are satisfied with the service and wish to continue, a yearly payment cycle will not lock into a contract you are unhappy with, and will remove the issues of monthly billing.

  • Can I receive a discount if I pay for multiple years?
    Yes, you may pay for up to 3 years at a time. If you choose to pay for 2 years you will receive a 10% discount on both years. If you choose to pay for 3 years you will receive a 20% discount on both years.

  • Can I get a refund after a partial year?
    You may request a refund prior to the end of the first month of your service. After this point, the yearly payment can not be refunded.

  • I found a Word Press theme online I like, can I use it?
    Absolutely, we encourage you to find a Word Press theme which best suits your taste and point it out to us. Since may designs posted online are free for use, we can work to get this ready for you. Typically there will not be a fee associate with this unless the theme is highly complex. Please be sure the author of the theme allows public use prior to asking us to look at it.

  • I want a design that is unique to my site, can you create one?
    If you have purchased the basic package, the designs you may select from will be available to other restaurants as well. The intermediate and advanced packages provide for custom designs. For more information on these packages, please view the Services page.

  • How exactly do you market my restaurant’s website?
    We can not provide a public listing of the steps we take to market the website, however if you do choose to purchase a packge, we will provide this detail. In general, we submit your restaurant website to various search engines, restaurant directories, local dining directories, and mapping sites such as Google Maps.

  • Can I place advertisements on my site to generate ad revenue?
    Yes, this can be done in one of two ways. If you are a basic package user, we can place the ad revenue content on your site for you, and we will use PayPal to send you the proceeds once the amount reaches $100. If you chose this option, GreatEating.net will take 25% of the proceeds to recoup expenses. If you are an intermediate or advanced package user, you may place your own advertisements on your site directly as you desire.
